Tri-County Construction handles excavation, dirt work, and site preparation across Delaware as a standalone service. A lot of our excavation work is for other local contractors. Electricians, plumbers, and builders call us to trench for electrical, plumbing, and water lines, grade a site, or move dirt so their crews can focus on the skilled trade. Homeowners call with practical problems too — a yard that floods, a lot that needs grading before a build, or utilities that need a clean trench. We bring owned excavator and skid steer equipment so the work stays on our schedule, not a rental operator’s.

We grade for positive drainage so water moves away from structures and usable areas, document final grade so the next trade knows exactly what was completed, and haul off or stockpile spoil based on your direction. We do not quote dirt work by a blind per-yard guess over the phone, because access, soil, and haul distance change every project — every job gets a free on-site estimate.
